The World Diabetes Congress is one of the largest health-related congresses in the world and the only truly global meeting for diabetes. The congress is organised by the International Diabetes Federation (IDF). Diabetes Australia is the national body for people affected by all types of diabetes and those at risk, and we are the IDF member organisation for Australia.
Diabetes Australia is delighted that the World Diabetes Congress will be held in Melbourne in December 2013. Held over four days at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, the congress will bring together over 12,000 delegates who will be able to interact with more than 400 internationally renowned speakers, and over 80 international exhibitors, who will be showcasing their diabetes expertise, research and discoveries in all fields of diabetes.
